Napa Valley is a refreshingly “un-fancy” place, and a definitively stiletto-free zone. Tramping between the vines, pedal pushing to lunch and wandering tiny town streets on foot calls for a certain comfort level. Our packing list picks include no-fuss basics like pre-cozied denim and stacked heel booties, and a fun buffalo check cape and slim cross-body keeps hands free for the more important tasks ahead (read: why yes, we will try that next red blend!) Just because you don’t have to dress up doesn’t mean you won’t want to, though. Little pops of merlot (like a pretty print dress) make for no-sweat transitions that add the slightest touch of festivity to an epic dinner out.
